Thank you for starting a newsletter again! Will you be writing stuff with meal examples (e.g. I find myself often searching for healthy veggy ideas)? [I kinda missed custommealplanner :( but I'm still doing the Advanced Workout plan from the old website, thanks for that, got me into fitness]

Sadly (but I must admit I'm laughing in the same time), I feel like hair loss would be the main concern of those thinking of using Ozempic.

Hey Scooby , nice article , about Activity Levels. What about Weightlifting?

I am doing resistance training 3 times a week. Would my activity level be still inactive or slightly active?

I disagree with you on the Paleo diet. It's very close to the Mediterranean diet

Hi Scooby, love your videos, been watching you since 2010. I have a question concerning the calorie calculators. For the calorie calculator, why doesn't walking count in your opinion. I mean if i walk 5km a day and then eventually in the future it becomes 12km a day later on, aren't i burning more calories? Wouldn't it be more accurate for a calorie calculator to include asking how much milieage of walking weekly + how much strenuous cardio one does? Also i never felt that it was accurate for any calculator to ask how many hours of activity we do, cause if you slow down or speed up, it changes the mileage one does, which influences the calorie burn. Wouldn't it be more accurate to ask for the mileage instead and not the amount of time for ones activity level? Would be great to have your thought on this, thanks!

I think your stance against plastic surgery affects slightly the accuracy of what you write about it. Liposuction is NOT a weight loss surgery and any honest plastic surgeon will tell you so. As you often highlight, there’s no such thing as spot fat removal, one can keep dieting until their body decides to get rid of the fat in that particular spot. The problem is, in some cases it will be unrealistic, especially in women. So e.g. a person might have lost practically all the fat from their upper body and be super lean, but have jiggly and fat legs. Very common in women. It would require getting to dangerously low fat percentages, which hinders hormonal production, causes all sorts of menopause-like symptoms. These are the cases when liposuction can be potentially helpful. In short, if a person is of normal weight and body fat percentage overall, but has excess (compared to the other body parts) fat stored in certain area of their body. Being overweight is contraindication for such surgery, and any surgery in general, including medically necessary. Even gastric band surgeries aren’t too safe (but at least they make more sense) in an overweight or obese person. If someone is plain fat, a plastic surgeon will send them home and ask them to go on a diet and exercise until they reach healthier weight, because it’s impossible to get rid of all that fat all at once safely. Suctioning off a little bit that can be done safely won’t, on the other hand, make a noticeable difference (as you mention), which becomes a recipe for disappointment. So, accurate advise would be highlighting the above and asking people to consider whether slightly bigger thighs or second chin are really worth the risks that come with liposuction, let alone cool sculpting and other novelty techniques. Another thing to remember is when you’re fat, any surgery becomes infinitely more dangerous due to less accurate dose of anaesthetics and difficulty determining the incision point accurately. So it’s better to keep lean in case you’re unlucky and need surgery to save your life, because that increases the likelihood of you waking up from anaesthesia at all, and speeds up the recovery.

Thanks for all the information over the years. You mentioned at the bottom of the article next week will be workout plans but I haven't seen anything on here or YouTube. Did I miss anything? Thanks again for all the help.
